Our technology allows us to ensure that each sale or registration can be fully tracked so that in the event of fraud, we can easily locate and reverse the transaction. This forms part of our daily routine, as each sale is monitored so that we keep right on top of things looking for any suspicious activity, which would immediately be reported to the merchant.
Our screening process starts the minute an affiliate applies to join Commission Monster. Our comprehensive application form ensures we get all the required information about an affiliate so that we may do our due diligence to see whether the affiliate should be granted approval. If we believe that the affiliate would not be a suitable website to host our merchants campaigns, we will reject the application immediately. We do have high standards.
If a merchant is running a click program, we have enabled our technology to accept only one IP address within a 24-hour period so that the merchant is protected from attempted fraudulent clicks.
We have set up our system so that each time a sale takes place an email is directly sent to a staff member. This means that if we do notice any suspicious activity, we can notify the merchant and affiliate immediately. We have been able to identify many fraudulent sales and even notify the merchants accordingly before they even are aware.
Staff members run frequent reports so that we can tell if one particular affiliate is trying to cheat or misuse our system. If ever we find that one of our affiliates is in breach of our terms and conditions, we immediately suspend or even terminate the affiliate. We have a zero tolerance level for any misconduct.
